Default VTEC HelP

WHats up people a noob here to Honda Motors. So i got a prob i got a 96GSR chassis with a b18b1 swap GSR Head converted to VTEC. The Vtec isnt engaging, question is would it be expensive to get vtec wired with all components in place from a mechanic? I think it might be the solenoid.

welcome to the forums.. is the v-tec wired into the harness? or is the vtec head just sitting on the car.. i converted my 1991 to vtec and i wired up the vtec to engage manually by the flip of a switch.. its safe and make the vtec so much stronger..

yes it would be a bit expensive.. how much you are willing to pay i mean that can decide whether it is expensive or not..but this will be a wise decision to do so.
