What could this be caused by
I have a 95 Civic EX couple.Okay, on friday i had to bypass my thermostat valve cause it broke. Then i figured while i was out there i could take my A/C condensor out and get it replaced. I started my car up today for the first time since i started working on it and now the tranny is acting wierd. It won't shift at the right RPMs and when it does shift, it jumps into that gear. Its a Automatic. I am just wondering if it is just the Valve that i took out and it will be fine when i get a new one or if something else could be wrong.

you took out your ac condensor? It also act like a tranmission cooler too. I am not sure on the hondas but just got mine but I need to get a book and go over it really quick. Most condenser from my experience does 2 things, AC and transmission.

Well not in hondas... I hooked them all back up and the tranny still feels wierd. And it wouldn't be the tranny fluid because you wouldn't notice a difference like between night and day... I tried reinstallling my thermo valve and it still doesn't work. Pretty much the only thing i can think of is that something electrically is wrong.

The A/C condenser only serves the air conditioning!!!! I am sure of this.
Why are you replacing your condenser? Is you A/C not working? when you did remove it did freon come out?
Maybe you are removing your radiator instead of your condenser...because they are very close to each other, the tell tale sign is what came out of it...coolant or freon??? The transmission cooling lines are usually connected to the 2nd cooling loop in a radiator.
Also, was your car running hot? requiring you to remove (bypass) the thermostat to get more coolant to your car? If you did remove your thermostat, replace it with a new one as soon as you can.
If your engine temperature is not getting to normal operating temp, then the transmission may keep the transmission from shifting because of the morning warmup sequence. It keeps the engine revving higher (hence no shifting) to heat the engine up faster in a cold environment. If you took out your thermostat, then your engine is probably too cold for normal shifting.
need more info to continue...

well heres how happened.... My thermo went so i had to bypass it for right now. I know what my A/C condensor is i am positive cause i just know about A/C. I think that the temp just might be off but when i drive it it says its at normal temp. I am going tomorrow to get a thermo and i hope it works.
