Hello! I’m replacing my 2.4L ‘07 engine with an ‘04 engine but the throttle body doesn’t match. Will it work if I put the ‘07 throttle body on the ‘04 engine and use the wire harness from the ‘07 engine? It looks like everything will match up. Thoughts?? Am I missing something?

 

welcome to the forum. you might try to see if it works. not to many forum members do engine changes. you may also need the emc unit from the 04 to swap with the 07. (if you are in the state of Ca. you can change engines from same year to newer year engine, no older engine for newer car.)
