OK, Honda gurus! Here is my question.


I just got the 2015 Accord Sedan EXL V6. It has 17" wheels on it with tire size 215/55 R17. What I would like to do is put the 19" HFP wheels on it that are listed as an accessory for the 2015 Coupe. The funny thing is that those rims are not listed as an accessory for the sedan. Is it acceptable to put the 19" wheels on the sedan? The tire size would be 235/40 R19.


Any issues with the transmission?


I did see a 2015 sedan like mine on a dealership showroom floor and it did have the 19" HFP wheels on it. But if you call a Honda accessory website they say "for liability reasons we can only recommend them for the model they list".
