RE: 1990 honda accord air condition help
I have the same issue with my 91 accord. there are to lines for the ac. there is alarge diameterpipe and athin diameter pipe. the larger pipe is the low end of the ac and the thinner one is the high end. you will have to put the refrigerant (R-22) into the low end or the larger pipe. there should be a cap that u unscrews. If u live in the U.S. R-22 is no longer available to the public for purchase. U have to b EPA certified (unless u know some one who is certified 2 purchase the R-22). If u know any one who can get a hold of some R-22 go for it.
I had gone to a honda dealer, who advised I would have to convert my ac to R-134 witch is going to cost me $400 (all it is changing the gaskets.) hope that helped.
Note: don't try and put R-134 into your car, cause you may mess up the gaskets. but if you know some one who has done it go for it.
