When I had purchased the vehicle from the prior owner. it seemed to run fine. until a hose leading to my heater started leaking. after I had replaced the hose I noticed my starter was just laying in my engine bay not connected. I purchased a new starter because the ear had broke on the old one and I had accidentally fried it. When I hooked up the new starter and attempted to start my vehicle. I got 1 click and then everything in my cabin turned off. I have no head lights and dome lights nothing. and if it is the starter relay. I have no idea where to find it.

 

have you checked to see if the terminals to the batt are all clean, not look clean, wire brush clean. also the ground to the starter is good.

 

Check your fuses.
