Replaced the complete ignition switch on my daughters car after it was stolen. Wire harness is brand new. With all the wires snapped into place, car starts up and runs fine. Turn the car off and try to remove the key and it does not release. Unplug the interlock wires and the key comes out. Is this something common? I am a Chevy man and do not understand the import vehicles. Any ideas would be appreciated.
