Thumbs up 2000 Accord shifting problem solved

When jacking up the engine to change the front mount, a wire to the shift sensor solenoid got caught on the battery box and broke off a plug. I replaced the solenoid with a used one for $40. Online a new one was $200 plus. The front engine mount bracket must be removed from the engine because the engine will not go high enough to clear the stud when replacing the mount. The Hayes shop manual did not include that step!

A fitting did need to be retightened after the sensor was installed - 17mm I believe. Fluid leaked, upon inspection, discovered the fitting was not tight.

292,000 mile Accord shifts perfectly again.
