Hello so I have a 2000 Honda Accord lx automatic and a couple days ago this started, hen I first start my car it runs normally about 10 minutes after, the engine revs up when it's trying to switch gears then it jerks off then it keeps jerking every time it tries to switch gears I put transmission fluid in it yesterday and it's still happening any ideas?

 

Welcome in,if the trans is slipping then i would take it to a good transmision shop like Cottmans,they can do a diagnostic test and tell what the problem is free of charge,the 6 gen accords are known for tranny problems.good luck.

 

welcome to the forum. Would you know what type of transmission was used on your honda? If is was anything but Honda trans fluid, this might be the start of your problem.
