My accord all of a sudden wont start.. its not cranking at all. the lights dont dim when i try to start and i checked the main relay i dont see any obvious signs of damage like i see on the youtube videos. I have been having issues switching into gears for the past month prior..id have to try 2 times sometimes to get into gear. Im not sure if its related or not. From videos they say it could be the starter or silonoid. Not sure how to test them. .any suggestions?

 

welcome to the forum. have you checked to see if the battery terminals are clean first, has your timing belt been changed if you have one. easy stuff to check first.

 

Welcome in,you can have the battery checked at Auto zone or Advance,if good pull the starter and have it checked. It may also have jumped time?
