Hello All:
My 2001 Honda Accord needs a new transmission (TO.780 CODE ) .
CEL is on but it is working fine for the past 6 months.
I have to register my vehicle and it passed safety test but failed emissions. Sometimes when the lamp was reset it will not display till
RPM goes above 3000 . I have to reset the lamp and took it for emissions it failed because it has cleared out everything.
Mechanic told me to drive approx 50 miles and try again.
So far I drove 30 miles without CEL.
what are my options. ??
