Default 2004 intermittent cruise button: set/accel

Hello,

I have a 2004 Accord that has developed an intermittent decel/set button. The cruise, cancel, and resume/accel buttons all work flawlessly. But the "decel/set" button comes and goes. It's not even consistent within the same drive. It may work once, but then not again. Or it may not work a few times, and then suddenly start working within the same drive. I've searched for solutions and have tried tapping/jiggling the brake pedal, but no luck.

Thanks for any suggestions!

SOLVED!! I was not jiggling the brake pedal enough! Now to figure out what to do with the the little switch (switches?) down there. In the meantime, tapping and jiggling the pedal a bunch of times is doing the trick!
