Default 2006 w/ 110000 miles. When do I need a new timing belt?

I have a 2006 with the V6. I love this car and want to keep it running as good as it always has. Does it have a timing belt or chain? And when do you recommend I have the timing belt/chain replaced?

Lastly, if it does have a timing chain.. I've heard they don't need replacing like timing belts. Opinions?

thanks,
Jon

you have chain and yes they last alot longer then belts. some people consider them a lifetime part but i hear the chain tensionor were faulty on the 06 so i would look into that. over time a chain can actually stretch so in that case it would need replacement.

Honda's six cylinder in your model is a BELT not a chain, replace every 7years or 105k along with water pump, accessory drive belt, tensioner pulley, and timing belt guides.
