Default 2015 Honda Accord Trunk Leak

I have a new 2015 Accord and after a recent heavy rainstorm, I found about a gallon of water in the well where the spare tire is located. I took it back to the dealer and they put someone in the trunk and ran heavy water over the trunk but could not find a drop of water leaking anywhere. Has anyone else had this issue? What was the fix?

Since the car was parked when it was raining, I don't see how the water could have gotten into the trunk from underneath the car. So it either had to get in via one of the light assemblies or by getting by the gasket. But if that was the case, I would expect the carpet to be wet. It was not. Just water in the wheel well. No one else drove the car and the wheel well was dry when I bought the car. I carried no water or other liquids in the trunk.

welcome to the forum. water may be coming from the back windshield seal. if it rains again, check the spare wheel well. Hope you find this before the warranty goes out.

This may seem funny but i once had a leak i could not find so i got in the trunk with a flash light and my wife ran a hose all over therear window and seams of the trunk,it turned out it was where a emblem was attached but it was by no means a gallon of water, another way is to get in the trunk with no light and have someone take a high powered shop light and run it along the seams.hope you find it.let us know.
