I recently took delivery of a new 2025 Accord Touring Hybrid. While I love the car, it took considerable effort to reduce its data sharing to the absolute minimum, which in my case, meant just enough sharing to be able to use Google Maps.

I was first alerted to this problem by How to escape Honda’s privacy hell and they're not kidding. To fully limit data sharing you will have to abandon Honda's Connected Services, which is no loss for me.
