I have a 2004 Accord Coupe. The 3rd brake light does not light up so I checked and the wires that plug into the light socket is missing. I ordered parts 04321-SH2-307 (plug that attaches to the light bulb socket) and 04320-SP0-A00 (wires that attach to the plug). The wires have connectors that connect to the plug and the other end is bare wire ends.The wires are only about 6" long. I can not find any where to connect the bare wires Where do they connect so I get power to the light?

 

Welcome in,there should have been a plug from the harness originally,what you are looking for is two wires coming from the light or look for two contact points that may have broken soldier joints,a picture of the lamp from in the trunk would help.
