Exclamation 92 Accord Ex Probs. Shaky startup, coolant loss...etc.

Hi there. I have a 92 accord ex automatic. Im losing coolant somewhere. Cant see any leaks, no slimy residue on oil cap or pvc valve. No visible leaks or pools. Busted 2 hoses. the top and bottom one that looks like a u. coolant gets really low weekly then temp gauge goes up... Also on startup its really shaky when idling and sometimes almost dies. after 200,xxx miles its starting to act weird. Any ideas? start simple but be realistic. Im doing some work on it this weekend, (new oil pan gasket, its leaking really bad, plugs, wires, 2 tires, fuel filter, flushing the radiator...)

welcome to the forum. coolant leak, do you smell coolent in the cabin near the center council pass or drivers side, check to see if you see steam out of your exhaust pipe after the car is warm, check to see if there are any fluid under the car other than a/c water. or turn the a/c off and let it idle warm and check for fluid leaks. check to see if your rad cap is in good condition, sometimes it allows water to flow out as it gets hot but does not allow water back into the rad from the resevoir. do not use chemicals to flush the rad, it will help the water pump to fail and leak. (do not open cap when radiator hot!!).

take a compression check to see if cylinders pressure are close. yes it can be a head gasket.
