93 accord a/c compressor
I have a 97 honda accord lx. While my car is running sometimes it will make a high pitched noise from under the hood while its in idle posotion. When i switch the car into neutral the noise stops, but still does on drive reverse and park. I have been having this problem for about a year now and i think it might have somethin to do with my compressor because my a/c doesnt work. Does anyone have any ideas about how to test my compressoe at all?Ive recently recharged the system with freon, replaced upper and lower valves, and replaced the relays. Can anyone help my with this? Could these problems be related, or any ideas on how to test the compressor? _______=== XRumer 5.0 Palladium RULEZ! ===

how many cars do you have??? could be the following things. your a/c compressor could be locked up to stall the engine, to cause the squeeling belt noise. or your compresor belt is loose and needs to have the proper tension. If you have power to the compressor it the magnetic pully will lock up and turn the compressor if your belt is tight or it will stall your engine if the compressor is locked up. if you have recently recharged the system with freon, then your compressor might be working and the belt loose. Unless you charged the system with the engine off.
