my girlfriends car door broke. the handle on the inside and out side wont open the door. she took it to the dealer and they want 600 to fix it, they had the door open but wont tell me how they did it. i know i can fix it if i got the door open. can anyone help me with this? thank you

 

If they had the door open, the latches that are hooked up to the door handle may be off, also if you have an electric open close solinoid, this also may not be unlocking. Go to the salvage yard and take the same door apart to see how to fix yours, tear that one apart to get experience and parts you may need for your door.
