Default 94 Accord Speedometer

My speedometer recently stopped working but sometimes will work. You start the car and it will go to 20 mph and sometimes you will be driving and it will pick up the right speed. I heard that there is a magnetic pickup for this near the tranny and all I have to do is clean it and it will work, but I'm not forsure where it is located. Could someone help me locate this?

Usually the speed sensor is near wear the axles go in to the transmission up on top that area. You may be able to clean it but it may just be a temp fix.

RDF welcome to the forum. If you go to autozone.com register for free, and go to repair, to automatic trans, to transaxel, go down the page and you will see the location of the speed sensor, and you might find troubleshooting on the site.
