welcome to the forum. here are a few items to check. You may have done a few already. clogged fuel filter, blown fuse, immobilizer errors, fuel pump failure, defective sparkplugs, no spark, timing belt failure, Distributor coil, cap, ignitor.

Sorry, have to ask, "Did you fill up with gas or diesel?"
So, what have you done to check on why it will not start?
Check for spark
Check for fuel pump to prime fuel rail when key is first turned to run position?
Check for fuel pressure?
If you ran the tank dry then may require to prime the system
Using starter fluid to spray some into the in-take to get engine to run
After a short while it may continue to run
If not then other issue is stopping the engine from starting

Just because you hear the click of the fuel pump doesnt necessarily mean the fuel pump is working. Youre hearing the relay.
The pump should be in your fuel tank.
Have you actually tested the pump itself - meaning removing it and sending a signal to it?
Comon thought would be you probably burned out the motor in the pump if you drove it without any gas.
Id start at the pump itself then work outward.
If you think the fuel pump is working than simply disconnect the fuel line to the filter and start the car. - see if you get a spray of fuel. That will show if the fuel pump is working
And get a guage or rent one - to measure the pressure of the fuel pump -
thats another way to see if its actually working (if you havent did that already)
If the pump is actually working...then trace everything ...
check for a clog of debris
filter
possible but unlikely injectors not working
Also, you might want to check on your vehicle if there is some type of fail safe protection that activated when you ran the car dry.
A friend ran out of coolant - and his radiator cap shot off. we troubleshot it thought he seized up the engine - but after about half hour he turned the key - and it was no problem he drove it to an autoparts place to read the codes. So maybe it could be some type of electrical safety protection. Not sure, fingers crossed. Good luck.
