96 accord problems...
A couple days ago I was having problems with my 96 DX Accord...now mind you, i bought it for 3500... the car has 71,032 miles on it and is indecent condition.Decent as in there are couple things wrong with it. The windshield is cracked on the passenger side (slightly), the driver side mirror is a like part of the plastic or somethin like literally ripped off of it (so it whistles kinda when i drive) and then my rear bumper cover is dented in (about the size of a golf ball). I've already put in about 800 bucks in getting the air conditioning fixed and now the other day I had a problem with the clutch. I guess the clutchmaster cylinder was f'd up and so i had to have that replaced too. Meanwhile, I ask to get my alignment done on the car and the mechanic says I have to get some new tires because the ones I had on there were pieces of ****. So he replaced the 2 front tiresbecause those were crap, and fixed the alignment slightly...He said that it needed to be fixedby stretching out the frame of the wheels because it's off byan inch....Basically, ALL i wanna know here is what you guys think I should do with this thing. I know Honda's are awesome, don't get me wrong, but it seems likeall i'm ever doing is fixing stuff on this thing (and yet I love this car because of the stick and the fact I put an aftermarket stereo in there) I don't know what I should do with it. I mean if anyone could give me some tips or possibly knowing where I couldget parts (for cheap)to fix some of this stuff, that would be excellent...I'm kind of on a low budget right now, because I'm going to school n stuff, but other than that I would like to see this car hummin one day because I absolutely love it... PLEASE HELP!!!

well i dunno. listen to my story. lol. i bought a 1996 honda accord LX for $1500. Now the amont of milage on this is rather high. Actually it is extremely high. i bought it wiht 182,000 and so far i have 194,000 and i had it for 2 months. No when i received it the vehicle still had a stock clutch and timing belt...yea i know.crazy. so far the only repairs i had to do to it was replace the timing belt and waterpump. i onlt put 400 bucks into it.(not including maintence. i love my cars so i give only changes 2500 miles and i replace the M/T fluid every 10.) but anyways i guess the point that i am trying to make it keep. my car runs great and i love it.
