Default '97 accord cooling fans

For some reason the cooling fan wont kick on with the key on. When I turn the ac on, both fans will cycle with the ac, but the cooling fan will not run until i turn the key off, and then it will run until its cooled off. Ive waited until the temp gauge is almost to the red, and they still will not run unless key is off or ac is on. Any help you can give is greatly appreciated.

check your thermostate switch, if you have power to the thermostate switch, and no power to the fan when hot, switch goes bad. welcome to the forum.
