Accord 2000 se vibration issue(brakes)
I have a Honda accord 2000 SE Front disc brakes; rear drums having some vibration issues. At 60mph and above sometime vibrates and once I apply brake pressure it shakes more. Weird thing is it doesn’t happen all the time. I also notice over the weekend that I was at stand still with my foot on the brakes for about 5 minutes and once I release the brakes it didn’t seem to release the brakes. I replaced the Left caliper because once changing the brakes notice it wasn’t allowing me to push the caliper back into place easily. Brake hose was done b\c I thought that might have been an issue as well
This is what I have replaced so far. Rotors, brakes, Calipers (left side), Brake hose (left side), balance both front wheels.
Thanks

welcome to the fourm, sorry for such a late answer, how long ago were the rotors replaced? have you swapped the front tires with the back? Have you checked to see if your front wheels ( not tires ) are true round ( not warped ) ? where did you get the rotors from? Is the tire ware same on all tires ? When was the last wheel alighnment done?

Acmech52,
Thanks for the reply let me answer all your questions.
1. The front rotors was place on in late December but was still experiencing the vibration issue
2. Didn’t swapped front tires to back reason for that I placed my custom rims back on to the vehicle since the weather is getting better and yes they are balanced had them done the same time I want placing them back on.
3. Great idea but I would find it hard to believe that my stock wheel and custom wheel both would be both warped
4. I both my rotors from Olympics auto parts store
5. The tires are all the same
6. I have not done the wheel alignment as yet but thinking about it
Thanks for all the advice Acmech52
