Default Accord Build

I am new to this forum as of today and i am going to purchase an accord in a few more days. Im looking for easy upgrades such as headers, cams, etc...(bolt ons). I will have the car soon and will be able to tell specs of the motor and would much appreciate any tips on good racing parts/brands. This is my first honda!!!!!!!!

your very limited to upgrades considering you live in california one of the strictest smog emissions states there is. matter of fact there's only one header manufacturer that is legal and one air intake that i know of.

welcome to the forum. What ever you mod on your car, be sure you have the receipt for everything. if the hwy patrol stops you and you have no receipts, the car goes to a tow yard and then to a crusher. otherwise enjoy your mods.

they can't do that only if the parts are stolen.

thats the reason for having receipts. that proves parts are legal.

yes but not having a receipt doesn't prove the parts are stolen. thats like being deported because you don't have an ID. like i said before only certain parts are legal regarding emissions these parts come with carb exempt stickers proveing there legality. http://www.autoanything.com/air-inta...is-carb-exempt
