Hi everyone, I just bought a used Honda Accord 2010. It doesn't have bluetooth but has an aux port. My cell phone doesn't have an aux port nor can wirelessly charge. I tried one of those bluetooth sync things you plug into the aux port. Got it to sync, but the music wouldn't come through the speaker. I then bought a splitter that has a TypeC to plug into my phone and then an adapter I can plug an aux cord into (and then into the car's aux port) and then another Type C port that I can plug into the car to charge. I tried that out today and at first it worked and then it didn't. The music works pretty easily, but it won't charge at the same time. I'm frustrated. Has anyone figured out a workaround? I don't want to have to pay more pay for a kit installation or a new stereo.
