California Emission???
Hello! I have a 2004 Honda Accord LX 4cylinder. I was told by a mechanic that the 2 oxygen sensors on my car need to be replaced I have been researching but I can't figure out if my car is regulated for California or not. I am hoping it is not because I see the part is higher. I looked under my hood and it says:
"Vehicle conforms to US EPA Tier 2 Bin 5 and CVF and LEV regulations applicable to 2004 model year new passenger cars & California regulations applicable to 2004 model year."
What does this mean?!

yes its regulated and california has very strict emission laws. if your sensors need replacement your check engine light would come on and it would throw a P0420 code. double check the code by taking it to advanced auto or any parts store that checks the codes for free. it mite not be the sensors you mite actually need a new cat converter there very expensive so double check to be sure.
