We own a 87" Civic CRX SI. Our car will quite running but the next morning it starts right up. We have replaced the transmission, clutch, distributer, fuel pump and fuel filter. Has anyone else come accross this problem or have any idea what this issue could be? Thanks

 

I knew someone whom owned a 89 CRX. Same problem and replaced the same items. Turned out it was the computer. Give that a look at.
