I have a 2015 Honda Accord w/ 75k. Was just told it will cost $14,000 to replace transmission!?! Any help suggestions. I'm at a loss. Repairs cost more than the car is worth. When driving between 5-25 miles it shakes.

 

welcome to the forum. to replace a cvt trans is 4-7,000.00. have you had the cvt fluid changed lately. also you can call American Honda Corp and see if you can get relief on cost or if they might replace the trans if needed. need to shop for trans overhaul. or check ebay for good used low milage trans. most from wrecked cr-v's then have a shop replace. ask friends where they had their trans overhauled. look up trnas shops in the yellow pages, also check for ratings in yelp.

start with the least cost. when was the transmission last fluid changed. call on trans shops for estimates, view ebay for good used trans or the internet. get estimates.
