Does anyone how to check if an engine idle control valve on a 1991 Honda 2.2 is bad?

I know there is a reading of ohms that one can do to an EICV. What are the numbers between that say it is still good. Also. Does anyone know how to check the EGR valve as well. Trying to diagnose why my car is running so badly in idle.

I have done this with EICV and actually watched one of your videos to do it. I will try to clean the EGR as well. Is there no way to test these parts to see if they are bad or does one just clean them and if no change, just change them out. At $300 and $180 , I rather know they are bad before replacing them randomly.
