Question Foggy Coating On Interior Rear Window

My 9-month old 2025 Accord Touring Hybrid has developed a coating - not sure how to describe it - on the interior of the rear window. It's on the bottom of the window and it's 3 or 4 inches high. Looking through that portion of the window is like looking through fog.

I can clean it off with glass cleaner, but that isn't easy because I have to stretch pretty far to reach that part of the window.

Is anyone familiar with what causes this coating to appear? There are no open windows or vents nearby that would allow something to accumulate.

i’ve been advised by a few dealers that it comes from the materials used in the rear deck and seats.

Thanks for your reply. Since nothing is venting onto the window, it makes sense that off-gassing could be causing this. I can tell you that standard glass cleaner doesn't remove it. Warm water and a cotton cloth did the trick.
