Default Headlight Not working

I have a 1996 Honda Accord.

The driverside low beam is not working. Here's what I have done so far

Changed bulb - didn't work
Checked socket - didn't work
Checked wire in front of socket - no power

I did check everything on the passenger side as stated above and that all work.

What is the next thing I should check.

I checked the fuses - even switched the fuses between left and right and the problem still persists

if you already checked the fuses and still no light. then checked the power lines then the next step is to check the relays then the switch itself. what a major pain. sometimes it's easier to just buy an external switch and wire it in but you don't have that nice stock look.

Would a relay affect only 1 low beam? Is the power lines different than the wire in front of the socket(I checked - no power)? Where do I find the relays?

Thanks for the reply

my chilton only coverys 84-95. you could go to a dealership and they can print out a blowout of parts for you including a wiring diagram. good way to check. relays are either near the fuse panel inside the car our in the engine compartment. i only hondas i ever worked on were 87 and 93 accords.

the problem you're having is for some reason or another there is no power going to to one of your head lights. you have to track it down. use one of those probes with a 12v light bulb to track down the wires. very time consuming. are you sure you checked the fuse? make sure is fully seated and dielectric grease is your friend.

good luck.

If you two power outlets are not functional, then its highly likely to be the fuse.Which fuses did you check and where are they located?
