Default heated seat switch

For 2006 Accord ExL
Does your heated seat switch illuminate when your headlight is on because I've just noticed that the switch no longer illuminates on the driver's side. Why is it that the Honda Warranty agent keeps telling me that it is not supposed to illuminate when I know for sure that they do indeed illuminate?

Yes, they definately illuminate!

I replaced the bulb in one not to long ago. Often these bulbs just get loose for some reason.

Its a very easy repair to get to taht switch too, so dont let them give you 5 hours of labor or something crazy...Of course, yours should still be under warranty.

Hey, I have a question for you. In my Accord V6, (2005) if I run 87 or 89 octane fuel, the car lightly pings and knocks on acceleration.

If I run 93 Octane, no knocking or pinging, but I dont like paying for premium...when I shouldnt have to!

So what OCtane do you use? Any knocking or pinging?

i use 93 octanejust because. I haven't noticed any pings or knocks on acceleration, yet. It shouldn't really matter which type of fuel you put in though. Supposedly, honda recommends that we use regular gas.

Thanks for the reply..... i had to argue with honda warranty service for about 30min regarding if the button should illuminate or not. This rep supposely told me that the button should never illuminate [:'(]Its good to find out that I'm not the only one that needed to replace the bulb.
