Default ignition switch

anybody else have trouble with their ignition switch? My 2003 Odyssey ignition just had to be replaced because it was very difficult to get the key in and then when it finally did go in, it wouldn't turn. We also could not open any of the doors with the key. The dealer said it wasn't a key problem and that we needed a new ignition. We did not have a big set of keys dangling out of the ignition weighing it down either so that wasn't the problem. I am a big fan of Hondas- have owned one for years, along with other brands, and I have never had to replace an ignition switch because the key won't go in and turn. Seems to me that Honda should be able to come up with a technology that doesn't require replacing your ignition after three years. This has cost me almost $500 so I am not too happy with Honda at this point.
