I can only speak from personal experience from having a full suspension kit (struts control arms camber kit coilovers etc) and totaling a car (pictures are in the photo gallery) and only having to replace tower bolts and having the whole kit last me another 2 years before I sold the car and still as far as I know being installed on the car. You say the parts are crap show me another manufacturer that has parts that can withstand that force and still survive.

merely circumstantial in your particular isolated incident its not even the same car or year its not even the same suspension of a 2005 accord. in that case google image search ''bc coilover failure'' or ''d2 coilover failure'' and we can make assumptions to whether or not these coilovers are safe or not.
