More rust found but mileage still great.
Dang! I found more rust when I filled her up today. Open fuel door, boom, paint cracked and peeling back below fuel filler opening. I expect it's coming from behind. Right when I was going to get the fender well/driver's quarter panel rust cut out and fixed too.
Living in WV......should I replace my car or try to get the rust fixed?
Did mileage check: 30 mpg city! On this fill up I was taking a 20 mile round trip every other day via turnpike. Rest is city driving.

some things to think about if your're thinking of replacing your current car. what is the cost to repair current car if its paid off, how much money will you be spending on your next car, payments or money owed or cash out of pocket. is it cheaper to fix the current car or cheaper to sell it and pay cash to equal what you have. then what other maintenance will there be on the newer car. normally it is cheaper to fix your paid off car then to purchase another car and fix that one too. also you are getting very good milage for an accord. my 90 accord was 22 miles to a gallon fast or slow.
Thanks brother. I came to the same conclusion talking it over with dad. *He's a "bondo it up and keep going" guy and the truck he gave me (1972 Chevy) has all sorts of rust and bondo. It is a nice car, gets great gas mileage, and I love her. I'm getting the rust fixed but keeping eyes open for a good condition manual Honda. I don't want anything newer than 2002.
