Oil Leak (2006 Accord)
I have an oil leak somewhere in here that’s causing so much oil to build up and cover the power steering pump and everything around with it.
I do light maintenance work on my car, oil change, starter, etc.
I self diagnosed the problem when my alternator went out last month assuming my pump went bad and was spraying power steering fluid on the alternator but I got a brand new alternator and power steering pump and the buildup is still happening on the side of the alternator and I’ve now come to realize it’s oil.
It looks like it’s coming directly from behind the power steering reservoir at the base of whatever that is located directly behind it.
