Exclamation Quieter Exhaust

I have a 2001 Honda Accord V6 Sadan with an aftermarket 2" pipe split to 2 loud mufflers. I want to quiet it down some but not lose performance. Also, will it be ok to lose the split and have a single muffler. Thanks

Welcome to the forum,do you also have an air intake mod on your car? Those sometimes create more noise than stock, also changing to one pipe would defeate the purpose for custom exhaust performance. You can put a stock muffler on but again would hurt the performance gain. The only time I have a noise issue with mine is WOT .

Yes i do, I have a short ram. I thought bout putting on the stock but it was gonna be a hassle to have them mod the muffler to the 2" pipe.

I agree with bucwheat. There is no point in removing the split. It would be much better to improve your mufflers by mufflers designed for dampening and also add the resonated tip in place of exhaust tip.
Lastly, check for the exhaust leaks, if any, for the repairs. That should quite it down without lessening the performance.
