One of the speakers in our '93 SE is crackling giving a static noise occasionally. The sound system is the BOSE upgrade that was factory installed when the car was new. It's not a constant thing but IS very irritating when it acts up.

Does anyone know of a source for replacement speakers? Can the speaker mounts be reused with other speakers if I buy new ones? I want to keep the appearance original if possible. What should I be mindful of when buying new speakers?

www.crutchfield.com jc whitney, ebay. check the current speaker, for amps, watts, measure size and debth, get a free catalog from crutchfield and jc whitney, and compare with ebay speakers. speakers normally will come apart and reuse the cover to look the same.
Did you ever find where the water leak was coming from?
