1993 accord wagon automatic trans- shift indicator says car is in D4 when in fact it is stuck in D2- can shift manuallyfrom D1 to D2 and R but that is it- have recently repalced console shift switch because it had failed- this has been ani ntermittent problem for awhile but now is permenent- any help in a diagnostic greatly appreciated- live in a very rural area and will cost me a great deal to have towed to a repair shop for a simple diagnostic
