SRS disable

I am replacing the ignition switch on my 97 accord, the instructions I have say to disable the SRS but they do not tell me how to do this. Any one know how I go abouts doing this?

disconnect your battery terminal until all the work is done.

disconnect the NEGATIVE terminal end.
