Default Technician forgot to "reset" after oil change

Got an oil change at the dealership as well as a front brake job.
I own a 2016 Honda Accord that my wife drives.
Oil change was 3 weeks ago yet today the yellow wrench appeared along with a message "Remaining Oil Level 15%"
My wife said that the day after the oil change she pushed the button to see if the technician remembered to reset it...and it displayed 100%
Hmmm, 3 weeks since the oil change and it displays "15%"
Any thoughts????

Check the oil level with the dip stick.
If it had said remaining oil life then it would be something else.

welcome to the forum. check oil level and reset oil life per owners manual. by resetting this oil life, it resets the maintenance code for the next set of checks for the vehicle.

It possibly says "Oil Life" and not "Oil Level". I'm sure its whatever the wording that is as per usual......the main point is that the wife claims she checked it because the tech. forgot to reset it once in the past....and the day after the oil change it displayed 100% and today it displays "15%"
We're almost ready for bed so I'll check the exact wording in the morning.

LIFE. The Accord displays that there is 15% Oil LIFE remaining.

you are correct, it does say oil life. and avisitor and i both advised you to check to see the oil level before resetting the oil life %. you too should double check the oil life % to make sure that is what you are reading, then reset the **** yourself. also check to see if the oil is nice and fresh or have the dealer reset it for you. .

I am grateful for both of you trying to help me. Yet the dealership is not far. This morning I'm taking it to them so THEY can take care of it.
Thanks for your time.

It sounds like the oil life indicator wasn't reset correctly during the oil change. If your wife saw it at 100% right after the change, it should not be showing 15% just three weeks later. It’s possible there’s an issue with the oil quality, or the engine might be consuming oil. I recommend checking the actual oil level and bringing it back to the dealership to have them inspect the monitoring system and confirm everything is working properly.
