Timing Belt

Timing Belt
I just bought a 2003 Accord Coupe with a V6 engine, 206,000 miles. it was bought at an auction, and I have no idea when the timing belt was last changed. The engine was clean, and the oil appears to have been recently changed, so it looks like the upkeep on the car was good. As changing the timing belt is quite costly, I was wondering if there is any way to tell if it's been changed within the last 50,000 miles or so without opening up the engine. If I do replace it to ensure it's new, anyone have suggestions for part manufacturers? On a car this old, will DNJ be reasonable? BTw, the engine runs fantastic with (almost too much!) pep.

per" your car angel" his list of interference and non interference engines state honda's 3.0 and 3.2 are nnt interference. but keep in mind if the belt does break while you are out of town or away from home, it becomes a pain to have it towed and repaired..less cost to replace the belt, water pump, cam and crank seals and tensioner and have a peace of mind for the next 100k miles. it would be nice if you could find out the previous owners and find the car history.
