Default Timing Belt?

I have a 2000 Accord EX with around 90,000 miles. The shop where I recently had it inspected told me I should have the timing belt replaced. What are the symptoms of a bad timing belt because the car runs fine? Is it just the mileage?

timing belt conditon worn, cracked. 2000 accord 2.3 or 3.0 recommended 105,000 or 84mos. sooner if temps are -20f to +110f. weather does take a toll on timing belts.

mostly it is the condition the timing belt is in. if it failed, you can have alot more trauma to deal with. if it does seem cracked or worn, i would spend money to get it done. preventive maintenance is the best kind. i think for most vehicles timing belt should be replaced around 70-80k regardless, according to manufactuer specifications.
