vent visors? what ones to get?
Just got a used 07 Accord 4dr LX and I'm curious what type of vent visors are standard when purchased on new cars?
Autozone has two different options:
1) in-channel taped
2) outside taped
Also, from whatever is standard, what is the best option?
I want to get something good, secure, and not going to blow off on the interstate! (seen it happen more than once)
Also, where can I get a good deal on a set for all 4 doors on a sedan?
Thanks!!!

I personally have never seen a factory vent visors ( type placed on the doors to allow venting with the window cracked open.) all of those I have seen are after market, add on's. I was one of those who purchased a set from Pep Boys and taped them on and yes I did loose one a few years later on the hwy because I did not reglue it when I saw it coming off. in channel might interfere a bit witht he window going up but my stay secured better.

On my Accord, the previous owner had the Honda shop put aftermarket "stick on" types on in 2002 and they are STILL ON.
My Civic, I had the same thing done in 2003 and those vents are still on and doing great.
Might depend on the type of adhesive and who does it (know how).
Greg
I've seen stick on types come off too but usually it's on cars where the owner wouldn't fix a muffler that was dragging or be able to fix a flat tire.
