What is this part that is located in the engine bay?
Hey guys,
Just finished replacing my starter motor (on 2004 Honda Accord Wagon - K24A) and during the process as I was putting things back together again I must have accidentally bent off the pin that goes into the following connector (see below). So now the pin is snapped off.
You can see the shiny new starter motor there and that highlighted area is what I'm inquiring about. What is it that it does? And can it be repaired? Because even though the car now starts, there is now an engine light on, so wanting to know how serious this may be, or perhaps it's just a sensor?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. My day was going awesome before this happened [img]data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7
