Hey-i'm still babying my 18 year old accord and about to get it's 5th muffler- i've always gone to the local muffler guy, but another shop said just go get a universal size muffler and bring it in and i'll put it on for 40.00--as compared to 160.00 at the muffler shop? Looking on the internet it seems it's either a 2 inch or 2.5 inch pipe to choose from - how do i know which one it is? any help is appreciated! Thanks

 

Ask your muffler guy which one he can work with. Stock muffler pipe normal size is about 2 in. Replacement may be larger. The muffler guy may already know what size so min work to install.
