Default What would you do?

In October my '02 Accord goes into the shop for some rust repair (rusted metal cut out and replaced with donor metal). While there I think it's high time to put on a factory spoiler (wing).

I have two to choose from but I am split on which direction to go.

1). NOS 2001/2001 Accord spoiler in same factory color as my car. Cons: no longer matches exactly as my car has faded a bit since 2002. Pro: it's year and color correct

2). OEM 1999 Accord spoiler in gloss black paint. Cons: will definitely stand out, may cause resell problem. Pros: Very different, creates "2-tone" look, and seems "edgy."

Which path would you guys take and why?

If you are spending money to fix the rust then would definitely go with something that makes you happy.

Thanks man. Although everyone I have asked in person disagrees with me, I am seriously leaning towards option 2.

My car is silver and the black one would definitely stand out. My car also has side window vent shades and the black trim along the rocker panels. These items are a flat black instead of a gloss black like the spoiler.

I'm thinking if I put my NOS nose mask on and keep the tires shined up, the 2 tone look will be OK.

Any other comments?

So the car will be a silver sedan with black OEM wing.
