Default Wiper arm problem

Hi: I noticed my accord driver side (26") does'nt make contact fully on windshield. There is a area 4" wide with little or no contact. I have changed the wiper blades 2 or 3 times, each time buying better grade blades. I'm thinking the spring under arm is a little worn. Anyone with this problem. Thanks

it could be a worn spring or the arm could be warped or the tip bent also make sure the nut or bolt holding the arm on is tightened properly. did it just start doing this or did you buy it like that ???.what year is your accord??? if all else fails you can buy a brand new wiper arm here for around 50 dollars also contact a dealer it mite be cheaper to pick it up yourself. http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com/...artsSearch.jsp

Flip open the plastic snap cover at the bottom of the wiper arm using a small angled pry bar or a straight-edged screwdriver.
Size up the nut under the snap cover with a 3/8-inch drive socket and loosen with ratchet. Remove nut.
use the screwdriver or pry bar to gently but forcefully lift the wiper arm off of the spindled arbor.
Hold the wiper arm just above the spindled arbor and reinsert in the position that you want it to be when it is in the "off" position.
Re-tighten the nut. Turn the key in the ignition and test the wiper arm to make sure it's swiping the windshield properly. If not, adjust as needed until the desired position is achieved. Repeat the procedure on the other wiper arm, if necessary. Make sure to snap the cover back down onto the wiper arm nut.
