Hi

Think of getting a new 2006 Civic, there is an CD/Aux button on the dash does anybody know if an aux socket is fitted and if not can one be fitted and how easy.

I am getting conflicting stories from the dealers.

The new Jazz has the same (CD/Aux button) but they have a socket marked Aux next to the Cigarette socket but I can’t see a socket on the Civic

Yes, there is a aux jack located near the cigarette socket. The Aux button works only when there is a plug in the jack.

Thanks for the reply, the 2006 Jazz has a socket next th the cigarette socket but could not see one on the Civic (this is the UK Civic we are talking about) I have since spoken to Honda in Slough who state at present in does not have one. Models that come out in Oct should be 2007 models but nobody seems to know waht the diffference (if any) there is.

Do you have a 2006 UK Civic with an Aux socket?

my 07 civic has the socket next to the cigarrete thingy under the AC control, u cant barely see it, but it's there
